The Compaytence monograms that were drawn, traced and worked on, each in the versions that exist: the gradient where one was built, then color, black and white. The generated studies are out of this edition.
One chapter per construction of the C, oldest first. Each opens on its lead and lists every refined version with the round and date it was made.
The color column shows the mark on the ground it was made for, dark or light. Black is the house ink on white, and white is on the dark ground. A gradient appears only where one was actually built; the dashed box means none was.
Every mark here is exact geometry, a true vector or a mark drawn in code, so the black and white versions are clean cuts and any of them can ship as-is.
Andrea's entries come from her two concept documents of 3 September, at the settings she sent. Each appears standalone and as the C in the name, where the shipped wordmark has its C removed and the mark set in its place at the measured cap height.
The full archive, including every generated study from all 26 rounds, is kept at /all.
The team's three-arc C drawn to exact geometry and locked as the app tile: span 62 degrees, Abyss gradient, straight cut 2.6 percent. Exported as a full icon set.
Naye's interlocking crescents, refined by Trevor in Photoshop and traced to a verified vector, then measured in round 26 and given six gradients, five stances and its place in the name.
“maybe it isn't like a C… like the mouth opens up.”
Jake's ribbon, segmented and given its terminals in exact geometry, Trevor's Photoshop edit traced, then Andrea's version: half the weight, rounded ends, creased into planes.
Trevor's redesign of Naye's globe-in-C, traced, then Andrea's version with the real 3,027-point landmass in the counter.
